Anitka Stewart Sims awarded Women of Distinction in Advocacy by Montevallo AAUW

On April 12th, MLP Board Member Anitka Stewart Sims was awarded Women of Distinction in Advocacy by the Montevallo AAUW chapter.

The AAUW 2024 Women of Distinction Luncheon honored women in our community who excel and shine in Advocacy, Education, and Research. The keynote speech was given by Dr. Kate Hayden, who won our 2023 Woman of Distinction in Research Award.

We celebrate Anitka in all she does, and congratulate her on her achievements.
