Three new markers on the MAAHT!

On May 4, 2025, Montevallo Legacy Project and the City of Montevallo unveiled three new markers on the African American Heritage Trail. The sites—Epsibeth and Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Churches and The Little School—represent a collaboration between churches, families, local city and county government, and nonprofits. It was a joyful day filled with pride, gratitude, and community spirit. To view a full gallary of photographs, visit here.
