Upcoming event: From the front lines of gender affirming care for Alabama youth

Join us on October 23rd at 4:30 PM for "From the Front Lines of Gender Affirming Care for Alabama Youth: Law, Medicine, Science, and Joy," a lecture hosted by PFLAG-Montevallo featuring Dr. Morissa Ladinsky.

Dr. Ladinsky, a UAB pediatrician, has made significant strides in providing gender-affirming care to transgender youth across Alabama. She established and co-leads the region’s only continuously serving multidisciplinary care team.

During her talk, she will share her insights on the youth she serves, the scientific foundation of their medical care, and the challenges posed by political controversies. Additionally, she will discuss the ongoing federal court battles that she and her colleagues are fighting to ensure prosperity, health equity, and justice for trans youth, their families, and the medical profession.
